Established in 1850's, The Barossa Barn is one of the original properties built in the historic town of Penrice and originally used as an ox/horse barn.
The double story stone outbuilding is currently used as the bed and breakfast. This was built in the mid to late 1990's and carefully designed to maintain a similar rustic feel of the 1850's. The cottage gives you the feeling of yesteryear, yet has been packed with all the modern conveniences for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
Located 1.8 kms (3 minutes drive) from Angaston and 5.7kms (6 minutes drive) from Nuriootpa. From Angaston main street (Murray Street) turn off along Penrice Road (there is a statue of a draught horse and a soldier on the corner). Travel 2 kilometres, cottage is number 113 on your left. It has four dormer style windows in the roof. Parking is off-street, on the left hand side of the driveway, next to green fence with wagon wheel on it. Please text your estimated eta the day prior to arrival so we can arrange to be onsite to show you the B&B cottage.

CANCELLATION POLICY. Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the arrival date will forfeit the monies paid. If you do not arrive and/or stay for the entire number of nights that have been booked no refund will be given. We recommend the purchase of travel insurance to cover for unexpected situations requiring cancellation of bookings. BOOKING CONDITIONS: Non-smoking property. If evidence of smoking is detected inside property then guest/s will be charged a $200 cleaning fee. We have a "leave it as you found it" policy. Guests will be responsible to pay for any damage caused to property during their stay. Only the 2 guests on booking are permitted to use and stay in Cottage. (Including wedding guests) Property has stairs and may not be suitable for guests with mobility limitations. Property not suitable for children or pets.
