Serenely set on 360 acres against the majestic backdrop of Broughton Head, this magnificent property is a working farm embraced by native bushland and lush green pastures. With views that stretch uninterrupted across the rolling hills of the South Coast and beyond to the distant ocean horizon, Mt Hay Retreat is a lifestyle destination of rare distinction.
Arriving from the North: As you enter the township of Berry, cross Broughton Creek and take the first right (signposted Wattamolla and Broughton Vale) onto Woodhill Mountain Road. Follow this road for 1 km then turn left into Bong Bong road. Follow Bong Bong Road for a further 1km taking the left turn up Mt Hay Private Road. Follow Mt Hay Private Road for 2.6 km over the bridge, across 3 cattle grids, up the hill and around the hairpin bend and when you see the sign for Mt Hay on your left hand side, please turn right into the driveway!
Cancellations and refunds All cancellation requests must be in writing – e.g. letter or email and a receipt of cancellation issued. Cancellations within 7 days of arrival will forfeit 50% of the total cost of your stay; within 48 hours of arrival will require full payment of all booked accommodation. Any bank fees incurred are non refundable. Whilst all attempts will be made to resell your room you remain liable for the costs of your total accommodation booking. Should you fail to arrive on the scheduled day of your reservation your room will be held until the following day in case you have been unforeseeably delayed and are unable to contact us. Should you not arrive the next day your reservation will be cancelled and the total accommodation charge will be applied. Any changes to bookings must be requested in writing by e-mail. Prices quoted are effective immediately and are subject to change without notice. Please note that due to the nature of the property we are unable to accept children or pets as guests at Mt Hay Retreat. Mt Hay Retreat is a no smoking property.
