And amidst this natural wonder, you'll have the opportunity to set up camp right in the heart of it all at Carnarvon National Park. Your nature escape doesn't stop when you leave the Gorge. The surrounding area is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts and is home to 173 species of birds, 60 different mammals, 22 species of frogs and 90 reptiles. Even the elusive platypus can be spotted by the keen eye from the banks of Carnarvon Creek, which wraps itself around the holiday park. Booking Policy All reservations require a deposit (bond) at the time of booking. The minimum deposit is equal to one night’s tariff. Bookings are not confirmed until this has been received. Any changes or cancellations will incur a $39 administration fee. All cancellations must be submitted in writing directly to the park. We recommend all guests take out travel insurance to cover any circumstances outside of our cancellation policy. No refund or credit will be given for early departures or cancellations once you have arrived. Any promotional deals are non-refundable and require full payment at the time of booking. All bookings must include at least one guest aged 18 years or over, who will be responsible for the reservation. Cancellations & Changes Low / Shoulder Periods More than 14 days’ notice: $39 administration fee applies Within 14 days: 100% of the booking total will be forfeited High / Peak Periods (including April to September School Holidays, Summer School Holidays & Long Weekends) More than 30 days’ notice: $39 administration fee applies Within 30 days: 100% of the booking total will be forfeited Additional charges apply for more than two guests across all accommodation types.
