Located as a central base from which to explore and discover the secret of many southern Tasmanian’s sights such as Bruny Island, Tahune Airwalk, Hasting Caves, Peppermint Bay, Cockle Creek and much more. From the moment you drive up to our Chalet, you will be welcomed by the amazing views of lush rural surrounds. A secluded bushland with captivating views of the hilly native forest. Tranquil yet natural, true beauty of Tasmania! Situated at Oyster Cove, just 4 minutes from Kettering Ferry Terminal, the Chalet is nestled among the natural garden of gum trees, golden wattle, eucalyptus, banksia and much more. You will be surrounded with abundance of wildlife that roam freely and birds making their homes in our garden.
. Accommodation consists of 4 modern and luxurious self-contained studio apartments, all on ground level and easily accessible. The apartments all contain very comfortable queen or King/Twin beds and en-suite bathrooms. Please note spa baths are no longer available. We also have one apartment offering disabled bathroom facilities. Each of the apartments are equipped with kitchenette, and an outdoor dining area with own BBQ facilities. Each apartments has its own heating and cooling via a reverse cycle air-con unit.
Drive down the Channel Highway towards the Oyster Cove / Cygnet turn off. Watch for our tourism information signs which are some 400km from the Manuka Road / Cygnet intersection.
The guest can cancel free of charge until 7 days before arrival. The guest will be charged 50% of the total price if they cancel in the 7 days before arrival. If the guest doesn’t show up they will be charged the total price.
