Backpackers Imperial Hotel is located in the heart of Hobarts CBD. We are within walking distance from the city’s main attractions such as Salamanca Place home to the famous Saturday market which draws huge crowds every week. You will find everything nearby. Trendy cafes, cosy pubs, supermarket/mall, museums, Tourist Information and public transport. We are situated upstairs in the old Imperial Arcade a piece of Hobart’s Victorian architecture first established in 1870. We offer a variety of private and dorm rooms for the budget traveller. With a funky retro feel we boast the comfiest mattresses in town. We have a spacious common area with lounges and a widescreen TV, large clean kitchen and dining room to cook your own meals. Our staff are friendly and we look forward to helping you enjoy your stay with us, while exploring Hobart.
Cancellation Policy: Please note cancellations or changes to bookings must be made 48 hours prior to check-in. Cancellations will forfeit their first night's cost of each booking. You will be charged the total price if you cancel in the 2 days before arrival. GROUP BOOKINGS of 5 or more guests different policies and procedures apply including AUD $500 - $1 000 security deposit upon check in to cover any incidental charges.
