Only three and a half hours from Cairns in Tropical North Queensland's Gulf Savannah lies a land so different in contrasts - the Undara Experience. Just 275 kms SW from Cairns and 512 kms from Townsville via Charters Towers, Undara Experience lies on the eastern edge of the ruggedly beautiful Gulf Savannah. The road is fully sealed from easy access by conventional vehicles and is approved for travel by rental car companies. For something different, there are coach/rail packages available incorporating the Savannahlander Train. Alternatively, Undara Experience has it's own Airstrip and is accessible for private or chartered flights.
