Sandy Beach Resort applies the following industry standard practice to cancellations of holiday bookings - All cancellations incur an administration fee. The administration fee covers the cost of processing the booking receipting and banking the deposit cancelling the booking from the system drawing the refund cheque mailing the refund cheque with a covering letter and meeting bank charges. CANCELLATIONS- If the booking is cancelled less than 30 days prior to the planned arrival date there will be no refund unless and until the premises are re-let for the total period of the original booking. PEAK PERIOD CANCELLATIONS less than 14 days prior to arrival and LAST MINUTE CANCELLATIONS within 48 hours of expected arrival: The full amount of the reservation will be applied unless the premises are re-let for the total period of the original reservation. SPECIAL CONDITIONS - SCHOOL HOLIDAYS and TRIATHLON: Management requires a credit card or cash bond of $100 to ensure the units are left clean and rubbish free on departure. Refund of the bond is solely at the discretion of management.
