Surfside Holiday Parks have long been a tradition for lazy beachside holidays. The parks take pride of place on Warrnambool’s foreshore, metres from the popular swimming beach and the renowned Lake Pertobe Adventure playground. The Foreshore Trust formalised the camping area in the 1950s and many of our regulars have been coming since that time. The parks are now operated by the Warrnambool City Council. History - Family Holidays For Close to 100 Years Warrnambool Surfside Holiday Parks have been a Warrnambool destination since the arrival of the railway to Warrnambool. This area has been a favourite for locals and travellers since informal camping started in the early 1900s, and the formal creation of the Warrnambool Foreshore Trust in the 1930s. The changing face of our Lady Bay has also mirrored the changing style of camping as the introduction of motor vehicles made family holidays more affordable and provided greater flexibity in travel options.
When travelling from the Princes Highway turn left at the 4th set of traffic lights at the Mr. Magic Car Wash (Banyan Street) and follow the road along through 4 roundabouts. We are down the bottom of the hill in Pertobe Road below the Vistor Information Centre and Flagstaff Hill.

Cancellation Policy Refund Policy Please note we do not give refunds if you decide to leave prior to your nominated departure date. Refunds may be given under exceptional circumstances at the Managers discretion, however, no direct refunds are available. Refunds incur a $30 processing fee. Please refer to our website www.surfsidepark.com.au for full details of our refund policy. Peak Season Cancellations • All cancellations seeking a refund received before 90 days prior to arrival will not incur a processing fee. • All cancellations seeking a refund received between 60 and 90 days prior to arrival will incur a $15 processing fee. • All cancellations seeking a refund received between 30 and 60 days will incur a $30 processing fee. • For all bookings that are cancelled after 30 days prior to your arrival date no refund will be granted from your deposit. • No refunds due to an early departure will be granted except for emergencies at the discretion of the Parks Manager. Labour Day Long Weekend, Easter, May Race Week, Queens Birthday Long Weekend and Melbourne Cup Long Weekend Cancellations • All refunds received before 30 days prior to arrival will not incur a cancellation fee • All cancellations received between 7 and 30 days prior to your arrival, a $15 processing fee will apply. • All cancellations received after 7 days prior to your arrival date no refund will be granted. Other than Peak Season Cancellations • All cancellations received before 7 days prior to arrival will not incur a cancellation fee • All cancellations received after 7 days prior to arrival will incur a $15 processing fee Emergency refunds Emergency refunds will be at the discretion of the Parks Manager. Transfers No Transfers will be granted after 60 days prior to arrival date for peak season and 30 days prior for high and low season. Please note that for any transfer a $30 fee will be taken from the deposit. Failure to Notify of Cancellation. Failure to notify the park of a cancellation or if a client does not arrive by the close of business of the date booked, the reservation will be cancelled by the park manager, without refund of any paid deposit
