The Austin Tourist Park is a family owned and operated business situated on 10 acres on the banks of the Peel River at Tamworth. They offer a unique experience for groups with plenty of room on their Riverside Sites to spread out, and have space to meet, greet and play. The park is just seven minutes from the main street of Tamworth on the New England Highway (sometimes marked as Armidale Road). The majority of sites are well off the road making for a quiet stay. Facilities include a swimming pool, a seven day reception with night bell for emergencies, coin operated laundry with washing machines and dryers, playground, and a dump point. Across the road is a Caltex Service station that offers basic groceries, as well as fuel and gas.
- Cancellations are to be made in writing either via an email (preferred) or SMS message (if on the road). - Cancellations made at least eight (8) days prior to arrival will be entitled to a refund less a 15% or $25 (whichever is the lesser amount) administration fee. - Cancellations made between one (1) and seven (7) days prior to arrival will be entitled to either: a refund less a $25 administration fee; OR a full credit of the deposit to be held against your name for use within 12 months of the date of arrival - All monies will be refunded back into the account or credit card that was used to pay the original pre-payment amount. - No monies will be refunded for inclement or adverse weather conditions or any other circumstances beyond our control. - No refunds will be given for early departure or late arrivals.
