Founded in 1999 by two friends with a passion for great wine, Two Hands Wines’ ambition is to showcase the diversity of Australian Shiraz. Driven by a passion for quality, Two Hands aims to highlight the nuances of fruit expression of the variety from six prized and diverse wine growing regions across South Australia and Victoria.
The name Two Hands was inspired by the personal, artisan and ‘hands-on’ approach to the craft of wine growing taken by the team.
From inception, Two Hands Wines set out to be unique and imaginative. This approach is reflected in many facets of the business, from the idiosyncratic names on the labels, to the distinctive packaging, vineyard site selection and not least, the wines themselves.
The stunningly restored Cellar Door has always offered a guided tasting flight of wines from the foundation Picture Series wines, right up to Ares, the pinnacle of Two Hands Shiraz production.
They offer insightful Vineyard Experience tours where guests are taken to secret vineyard locations to taste the wines made from the vineyards visited.
Brutus at Two Hands, our bespoke Wine Bar housed in a converted Spitfire caravan is open from October to March each year and is named in honour of the patriarch of the herd of Scottish Highland cattle who stand guard over the company's Holy Grail Vineyard on Seppeltsfield Road.
Cancellations made more than 5 days prior to date of booking: will receive 100% refund. Cancellations between 5 and 2days prior to date of booking will receive 50% refund of total booking cost. Cancellations less than 48 hours prior to date of booking: Forfeit of all monies paid. Two Hands Wines reserve the right to cancel an Experience for any reason up to 5 days prior to the date of your Experience. In these circumstances you will be entitled to either a full refund or to reschedule for another available Experience at the discretion of Two Hands Wines. If guests fail to arrive for the booked tour / experience the same cancellation policy as above applies. As alcohol is served all guests must be over the age of 18 years. Please also refer to the Booking Agent Terms and Conditions for any other charges that may apply. Please consider travel insurance to protect against unexpected changes in travel plans.
