We love walking tours. We especially love Melbourne walking tours. But a long itinerary of history, culture and monuments with no break can take its toll. Plus, some walking tours can get a little dry. If you catch our drift.

That’s why we created a walking tour that includes a few cheeky aperitifs along the way; just enough to ensure everyone has a great time, but not so much we don’t remember who founded Melbourne.

Drinking History Tours is a fun, unique and social way for Melbournians, new Melbournians, travellers and groups alike to undercover the secrets behind this magnificent city.

We combine the best of both worlds; the history, culture and insight of a walking tour, with the fun and socialisation – sans the hangover – of a bar tour.

What do we cover on our walking tours?

Sites: We’ll show you some of Melbourne’s most interesting, tucked away places. The sort of places you won’t see from a normal tour.

Bars: We’ll go to a couple of great, CBD laneway bars, plus we’ll show you a few more along the way.

History: It’s a walking tour, after all. From boozy founders to the bushrangers of the 21st century, we’ll cover the stories and people that make Melbourne so unique. You’ll learn about famous murders, exclusive clubs, feminist icons, Chinese gold miners plus much more.
