In any season, Copeland House offers a wonderful escape into the heart of country New South Wales, just over three hours drive from Sydney. Situated next door to Copeland Tops Rainforest and just outside of Gloucester your next stop is Barrington Tops! We are in an area of outstanding natural beauty and perfectly placed for those looking for adventure in the local region or just the chance to laze around.
From Sydney/Newcastle Area Stay on the M1 all the way to the end. Take the Brisbane exit to get on the Pacific Highway and pass through Raymond Terrace. You will have open farmland on your left and an industrial area on your right including Maccas. Grab a coffee and point the car towards Brisbane. Approximately 22 kms later on your left is a turn off called The Bucketts Way. Taking this will take you into Gloucester. This is a very picturesque drive so sit back and enjoy. You will pass through the villages of Booral, Stroud, Stroud Road, Craven and then Gloucester. Word of advice... mobile speed cameras are regularly positioned along this road, When you reach Gloucester stay on the main road passing through town. When you reach the roundabout take the 1st exit left. Now stay on this road and you will pass through the village of Barrington. Great pumpkins sold on the side of the road here! Just after Barrington is a single lane Bridge that crosses the Barrington River. Please take care when crossing. You are now on Scone Road, Follow this along (do not turn right onto Thunderbolts Way). Nearly there... keep going and you will reach a Yjunction. Stay left (don't go up the hill), this is Old Copeland Road. Now you are going to feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. You are and it's fabulous! You will have Copeland Creek running along your right and houses on your left. Follow all the way to the end until you reach another Y. Ease left and that's the driveway. Don't worry if you miss it and ease right. In 200m you will hit the Copeland Tops SCA carpark and can turn around easily enough. So follow the driveway up and we'll see you shortly. Parking is on the RHS of the driveway but if you miss it there is a turning bay at the top.
